Hey guys, Mike Wilson here with AmericanMuscle.com, standing here with the BBK cold air intake kit for the 2005-2009 Mustang V6. We're going to combine this with a Bama race tune to see how much horse power and torque we get. But before we do that, we're going to make a dyno run stock so we get some baseline horse power and torque numbers. Stock, our 2005 V6 automatic put down 172 horse power and 196 ft/lbs of torque. The BBK cold air intake kit is a great first modification that combines both power and style. By removing the factory restrictive airbox, and replacing with an open element reusable air filter, and a straight intake tube, you'll notice increased horse power, torque, acceleration, and a throaty engine sound. And its bright, chrome finish, will definitely enhance the under-hood appearance of your Mustang. Now we're going to install this cold air intake, which should take less than an hour, and can be done with simple hand tools you have at home. Along with the cold air intake, we also installed one of our 93 octane Bama race tunes. A custom tune from Bama performance adjusts engine parameters to maximize your performance through optimized air/fuel ratio, spark advance, enhanced throttle response, and for automatics, increased shift firmness and adjustable shift points. Now lets do another dyno run, see what kind of horse power and torque numbers we can get. We installed the BBK cold air intake kit along with a Bama performance tune and our car put down 192 horse power and 218 ft/lbs of torque, gaining as much as 23 horse power and 32 ft/lbs of torque throughout the curve. We installed the BBK cold air intake kit and a Bama performance tune all in under an hours time using simple hand tools, and gained as much as 23 horse power and 32 ft/lbs of torque.

Improves Horsepower.
